Tango Hors Piste (Tango Off Track) is a Wednesday milonga organized by Céline Gastine at Nix Nox, a boat in the 13th arr. of Paris from 930pm-1230am, for 7€, (Includes drink and coatcheck)

The music is electro tango and world. The dancing is nuevo. The dancers are mostly beginner/intermediate. The teachers are good at starting beginners. The boat on the Seine is a romantic location.

The Tango Hors Piste Venue

The weight of the gangway to the shore makes the boat lean, so the floor is tilted. Hence the name, "Tango Hors Piste" which is a word play. It translates more or less as "Tango Off the Floor," but has a double meaning about going off trail on a ski slope.
