Luna

Luna (Moon, as in Monday) is a Monday milonga organized by Rebecca Shulman at Dance Manhattan, a dance studio in New York City's Chelsea, from 930pm-1230am, for $10, ($5 for DM students), where dancers dress casually.

Luna is a big milonga with dancers of all levels. There is a main room and a practice room. There is a simultaneous guided practica from 9:30-11:30pm. It is a good place for beginners to start going to milonga.

Sala 19, a Spanish restaurant next door has great food and is a convenient place to meet before milonga. The Union Square farmers market is nearby on Saturdays.
