Triangulo Milonga

Triangulo Milonga is a Tuesday milonga organized by Dante Polichetti at Triangulo, a Tango studio in New York City's Chelsea, from 930pm-1230am, for $10, (($8 before 10pm))

The Tuesday Milonga used to be called the Meat Market Milonga because it started in the Meatpacking District. Triangulo offers one of the prettiest Tango rooms in the City.

Triangulo

Triangulo is one of the pioneers of New York tango. Carina Moeller, originally from Berlin, opened in the Meatpacking District before it was cool. Until the late 00s, Triangulo was the sole Tango-only studio in New York. Carina created one of the prettiest rooms for Tango in the City with a wall mural of important characters in the New York tango community. Sometimes it seems like they are looking at you as you pass by. The studio has a more European flavor than others in New York. Triangulo also has a close-knit community of Tango students.
