Afternoon Milonga is a Saturday milonga organized by Maura Hays at Triangulo, a Tango studio in New York City's Chelsea, from 4pm-8pm, for $10

A relaxed, welcoming environment. The level is more beginner-intermediate.

Triangulo

Triangulo is one of the pioneers of New York tango. Carina Moeller, originally from Berlin, opened in the Meatpacking District before it was cool. Until the late 00s, Triangulo was the sole Tango-only studio in New York. Carina created one of the prettiest rooms for Tango in the City with a wall mural of important characters in the New York tango community. Sometimes it seems like they are looking at you as you pass by. The studio has a more European flavor than others in New York. Triangulo also has a close-knit community of Tango students.
